Well, it's been a whle since i've updated this site, has it? I've started to play Fallout: new vegas and have started to make genuine progress, it's pretty good. Umm... I guess i've beaten three of the demigods? yeah idk what to put here.

So I've been playing elden ring recently, had to restart because I started the game with mods (widescreen support and pausing) online. previously my character was literally hatsune miku, but I've decided to name my character elden john and I copied elton johns face and hair as exact as I could. i'm probably gonna rename my character to hatsune miku soon because I think it would be funny to have her be slaying demigods. something about elden ring's open world that contrasts drastically to breath of the wild's is that the maps of the world are hidden, so I've been using online guides to find the maps. I get that part of the fun of it is finding everything yourself, but personally i want to be able to see where I am. So far, I've redefeated godrick the grafted, margit the fell omen, and that one blue boss in the lake after the castle that I don't remember the name of. anyway, i should probably get around to fixing up this website. you're probably gonna hear that a lot and more than likely I'm just not gonna get around to it.

I am becoming a nethack addict. for context, I discovered nethack about last year. since then, i have been playing the game periodically, getting frustrated at several points in the game and trying again days, weeks, or sometimes months later. I recently started playing nethack again on a variant called xnethack, and dear god do I love this variant so much more than vanilla. your inventory shows the weight and maximum capacity of your pack (why doesn’t vanilla have this?), balances the game, asks if you want to step into a trap, and introduces a ton more QOL of life features. Now, one of my runs in this variant has reached somewhere around 7000 turns, and I made it to level 12. This game is slowly, but surely, becoming more bearable to play, and I notice myself playing it more not out of boredom, but simply because I want to. I got vanilla nethack on my phone but it doesn’t feel the same as xnethack. I see why people like this game.

so i speedran celeste today, i got a 1:09:40.045, i want to get it down to a sub hour run but I don't wanna spend any more of my day on this, so I'll just play half life or hollow knight or something. I'm thinking about renovating the site today but i'm kind of feeling lazy since it's the weekend.
welp, i did another run and got a 1:02:43.562, so I might do another run tomorrow if I have an hour to kill and i feel like it.

did another run, turns out that I got a 58:49.319, that's a whole minute and a dime from an hour! welp, time to get on vrchat, maybe get a drink, that probably being water. I have some lemonade in the fridge, might drink some of that. god i love lemonade.

alright, I've been playing hollow knight recently and decided to start playing the original half-life as a break. this game is stupid hard, not sure if i set it on hard mode but i still should probably be balanced no matter what difficulty you pick. I would show images of my game play but i'm at school right now so you're gonna get long-winded descriptions. something I don't get about this game is why people call it a masterpiece, i mean it's good but it's not THAT good.
